New U.F.O And A New Start!

Hi, I have a first ufo for 2010. My Eva top is finished. ta da!! Been looking for a suitable backing and can't find anything I like. Might have to weaken and just us a Eva layer cake, and I do have 1 yd of the green and pink scrolls that I could use as well. The other photo is another project I have started. The pattern is Cross Ties Throw from the book Jelly Roll Quilts by Kathy Brown. I am using Old Primrose Inn by Blackbird designs, so lovely this fabric! 10 blocks done, 1o to go. A few bits of jelly strips leftover, I might try scrappy blocks, or keep for piano key border. Then I will have to put it away until border fabrics arrive, bummer! I might have to start something else while I wait! NOOO, Kate is coming this afternoon and she is going to crack the whip while I put a ufo on my frame to be quilted this weekend.
