Irish Chain Quilt Top

A blog post at last! This is for Marise from Utah! ...Hi Marise!....

I made the Irish Chain quilt from the moda bakeshop pattern, and instead of using 1 1/2" strips I used 2 1/2" jelly roll strip to make it larger. I used repoduction fabrics, the Civil War Crossing collection from Moda and a few others from scraps that I had. Looking at it now, I think it needs another final border to make it even bigger! It's currently 6 1/2 foot square, about 80". Hope that helps Marise!

This quilt is so beautiful! Thank you very much for the pictures of it. I am Inspired! Moda should add this quilt and pattern info to their bakeshop site with the baby quilt. This is gorgeous and amazing with the 2 1/2" strips!
